    COMBUSTION SAFETY

    INTRODUCTION

    The Combustion Safety screen is used to record Worst Case Depressurization, Spillage and Carbon Monoxide test results. 

    The Combustion Safety screen is accessed by opening the client’s record from the Job List screen, then selecting Combustion Safety from the WEATHERIZATION menu.

    1. To create a new record, click Add under the appropriate section.
    2. To edit an existing record, click Edit at the beginning of the row. 
    3. To delete a record, click Delete at the beginning of the row.

    FEATURES AND TASKS

    Add Combustion Safety Test Information

    ADD COMBUSTION SAFETY TEST INFORMATION

    From the WEATHERIZATION menu select Combustion Safety:

    In the Initial Setup section of the screen, enter the following information:

    1. Enter the Living Space Ambient CO in ppms.
    2. Select the Results (Pass or Fail) from the drop-down list.
    3. Enter the Outdoor Temperature.

    In the Worst Case Depressurization section of the screen, enter the following information:

    1. Enter the Test Name. You can enter any name to help identify the test.
    2. Enter the CAZ Open Base (Pa) and the CAZ Open Gross (Pa) in Pascals.

                                   Or

    1. Enter the CAZ Closed Base (Pa) and the CAZ Closed Gross (Pa) in Pascals.
    2. Select the Test Type (Initial or Retest) from the drop-down list.
    3. Click Save.

    In the Spillage section of the screen, enter the following information:

    1. Enter the Appliance Name.
    2. Enter the Spillage Duration (Sec) in seconds.
    3. Select the Results (Pass or Fail) from the drop-down list.
    4. Select the Test Type (Initial or Retest) from the drop-down list.
    5. Click Save.

    In the Carbon Monoxide section of the screen, enter the following information:

    1. Enter the Appliance Name.
    2. Enter the CO Measured (ppm).
    3. Select the Results (Pass or Fail) from the drop-down list.
    4. Select the Test Type (Initial or Retest) from the drop-down list.
    5. Click Save.
