Video: How to install MINT on an iPad
To Install and Initialize Hancock MINT for the first time:
On Tablets:
- On your browser (must use Google Chrome on an iPad), visit your organization's Hancock URL
- Log on using the username and password provided to you. If you do not have a username and password, please contact your account administrator or contact support@hancocksoftware.com
- Tap the tablet icon in the upper right corner
- Click on 'Install.'
- Return to the iPad's home menu and find the Mint app icon
Important: If you see a warning message that this is an 'Untrusted Enterprise Developer,' click cancel and click on 'Trust'
iPad Users: When installing MINT on an iPad, you need to trust the App from your Settings, you will need to do the following:
- Open the Settings App on your iPad.
- Under General settings, locate Device Management on the right-hand side of the screen.
Note: It can take a few minutes for Hancock Software to display. - Tap Hancock Software, Inc. to the right of Device Management.
- Tap Trust Hancock Software.
- Tap 'Trust.'
PC Laptop:
- On your browser visit your organization's Hancock URL
- Log on using the username and password provided to you. If you do not have a username and password, please contact your account administrator or contact support@hancocksoftware.com
- Tap the tablet icon in the upper right corner
- The download will populate in the lower-left corner of your browser or in a 'Download' folder depending on your settings. Here you will select the three dots and 'Keep' or 'Trust':
- You will then select 'Open file'
- Follow the prompts to complete the install
The Hancock MINT App is now ready for you to log in and complete the Initialize process!
Initializing Hancock MINT for the first time:
- Click on the MINT app logo to launch the app; please note, this may take a few moments
- On the login screen, fill out your username and password
- Click on 'Final Account Setup,' please note this may take several minutes as the software is uploading all of your Catalog items and information
- After all the Catalog items are uploaded your home page displays (if Projects have been assigned to you, they will display on this screen, otherwise, you will see a clean page)
- If you do not have any Projects on your device, click on the 'Sync' button on the bottom right
- On the next screen, click on 'Sync Now'
- Once the sync is complete, click on the 'Close This Window'
- From the home screen, you will now see your available Projects; when ready, you can click on 'View File' to open the Project you would like to work on
