    Edge Browser issue - unable to edit a job or other page

    Hancock Software requires JavaScript to perform editing functions. If JavaScript or Running Scripts is not enabled, you will be unable to click Buttons or edit pages.

     

    For EDGE: 

    There are browser settings which are often set by the group administrator when building a Windows machine that will enable or disable JavaScript to run on the local Edge Browser.

    The settings can also be found under:
    "User Configuration: > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Microsoft Edge"

    One of the settings is "Run scripts". This must be on in order to run scripts like Javascript.

     

    If you are a Group Administrator, this can be changed under Group Policy settings:

    "Computer Configuration: > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Microsoft Edge"

     

    If you do not have local permissions to change these settings, please contact your system administrator.
