    Assigning an Inspection in Hancock Cloud and Completing an Inspection on the MINT App

    In order to Inspect a Project through the MINT App, you will first need to create an Inspection record through the Hancock Cloud. After that, you will then be able to Sync your MINT App and proceed with the Inspection.

     

    Assigning an Inspector through Hancock Cloud:

    1. From the Project screen, search for the desired Project; make sure your Filters are set to 'All.' Then, click on the arrow to expand the record.

    2. Under the Schedule grid, click on New. Select Inspect under the Task column, assign a person, and then add a Scheduled Date. Before clicking on ‘Save,’ be sure to check the desired Measure(s) you will be Inspecting under the Measure Management grid. To select all Measures, check the box next to Detail. When finished, click Save.

    3. You are now ready to Sync your MINT app to download the Project to your device.

     

     

    Assigning an Inspector through Hancock Cloud:

    1. Once you have created the Inspection record through the Hancock Cloud, you will need to log into your MINT App and tap on the Sync button at the bottom right corner.

    2. Tap on the View File button for the Project that you would like to perform the Inspection on.

    3. On the next screen, you will see that under File Overview, the Project status has changed to Inspection In Progress. Tap on the Items icon to start the Inspection.

    4. On the Items screen, you will see that it shows as 0.00% completed. This will update as you Inspect the items. To inspect an item, tap on the Items button.

    5. To mark an item as Inspected, tap the box to the left of the record. This will add a checkmark to the box, marking the item as Passed. When you're done, tap the back button at the bottom right.
      ****Tapping the box again will add an X to the box, failing the item. Tap the box again to clear it.

    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each of your items. When you're done, the items will each say 100% Installed and the status will change to 100% Complete. Tap the back button at the top left to return to the File Overview screen.

    7. On the File Overview screen, if you've completed the Inspection and are ready to submit the Project, you will tap on the Mark File As Done button on the right side of the screen.

    8. Once you've tapped the Mark As Done button, you will see that the status has changed to Inspection Done. Once you are ready to move forward, tap the back button on the top left.
      **** To undo this action, tap the Undo Mark File As Done.

    9. From the Home screen, you will see that the file is now showing as Done. You are now ready to sync back to the Hancock Cloud by tapping on the Sync button on the bottom right.

    10. On the next screen, tap on the Sync Now button.

    11. Once the sync has completed, you will tap on the Close This Window button. The Project will now be updated in the Hancock Cloud and will be removed from your MINT App.

    12. Once you log back into the Hancock Cloud, you will see that the Project now Inspection Dates and Inspection Statuses under the Measure Management section.
